Sometimes life is the best when its simple. For example, after travelling for work and eating out for a week or more, when you get home you just want a peanut butter and jam sandwich with a glass of milk. I had peanut butter and jam sandwiches every day at lunch growing up and I still love them.
At family reunions you always hear about the good old days, when life was simplier and I am getting closer to being one of those folks. I look at what being constantly connected has done to society and I start longing for how it was before smartphones.
Don't get me wrong, when I travel I sure like to have Uber, Yelp and Maps on my work phone to help me get around but when I get home I really like taking the Peanut Butter and Jelly approach to my connected life.
In our quest of offering privacy phones and services for a wide range of people I have come across a tiny little phone called Jelly and it measures 3.7"x1.94"x0.6" (95 × 49.4 × 16.5 mm) so it fits in your front pocket and its not much bigger than a credit card. The little screen is much better than I thought. The keyboard is tiny, but I am getting good at using it. It does what I need, connected to my inner circle.
We have ported our Privacy OS to this phone which removes all the Big Tech monitoring, social media, and telemetry to have this little phone perfect for your private times and personal travel.
Perfect for Youngsters
When I first saw this small phone I thought it was perfect for kids that need a phone to call their parents or guardians (and vice versa) but don't need to be connected to the rest of the big bad digital world, at least not yet.
Many people don't want to get their kids a phone, even a cheap phone, because its a gateway to the digital addition and privacy invasion. I am not a fan how young our children get connected but in our new mobile, dynamic, and busy world our kids at least need to be connected to their family.
Our Peanut Butter and Jelly phone out of the box can only make phone calls and send text messages. Just like the old flip phone days. It does have the Privacy Society App Store installed on the phone which is locked so the parents with a password can add apps to the phone if they want. Its up to the parents to add a web browser, email, or a few games, but its up to them. If your child needs a phone, this phone is a good start.
We are our working with our Telco partners to be able offer the Jelly with a minimal economical phone plan so you can stay connected to your kids without the specter of Big Tech. Maybe we will call it the Peanut Butter plan.
Not only executives and high target individuals need a private phone but your children deserve to start their digital life as private as possible and teach them good digital habits once you decide to have them connected.
I personally use this tiny phone as my home private phone. I have the Brave Web Browser, Proton Email, and Inner Circle installed so I stay connected to my trusted contacts when my work phone is off.
The Jellybean phone now on sale in the Privacy Society Online Store.
Very interesting looking forward to know more.
